AUDIO SYNERGY commenced operations in Perth in 1989
and is synonymous with Clifford de Souza who pioneered the introduction of Australian-made products into Western Australia.
Audio Synergy has built its reputation by:
- Being the first in W.A. to actively promote "home grown" products - such as Richter and ME - at a time when consumers were only exposed to equipment sourced mainly from the UK and USA . Consumer confidence in locally produced hi-fi components paved the way for such brands as Axis and Whatmough to emerge into W.A.
- Modifications, tweaking and fine tuning have always been Clifford's passion and his expertise in these areas are very much sought after even to this day. Customers are constantly amazed at the difference "upgrades" conducted by AUDIO SYNERGY have made to their "high end" components!!
- "Creativity" soon emerged and this is witnessed by AUDIO SYNERGY's In-House Products - as well as numerous requests for "tailor-made" equipment.
- TURNTABLES used to be regarded as "a thing of the past", however we have witnessed a resurrection in customers' preferences for records. AUDIO SYNERGY are well equipped to service and align turntables.
- VALVE amplifications with its warm sonic attributes have over the last few years made a come-back in the audio marketplace, as quality “replacement valves” are being manufactured.
- Clifford & Gloria were instrumental in bringing "competitors" together to
work towards PERTH AUDIO & VISUAL EXHIBITION (PAVE) that were held for three consecutives years with Clifford chairing the Committee - 1996 (Freeway Hotel), 1997 & 1998 (both at Hyatt Hotel).
- With China now taking the world by storm in many facets of the business world - hifi included - we have recently busied ourselves in the selection of quality components without the price tag attached to its equivalent foreign counterparts.
